Community National Bank CEO and President Chris Caldwell is proud to announce Community National Bank was ranked as the number one bank in Vermont according to Forbes’ America’s Best Banks in Each State published June 17, 2025.
Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to conduct interviews of approximately 26,000 U.S. citizens for all 50 states about the financial institutions where they have maintained a checking or savings account within the last three years. Customers provided an overall satisfaction score and answered whether they would recommend an institution to family and friends. Customers also responded to a series of detailed questions about satisfaction in several key areas: trust, customer service, digital tools, the quality of financial advice and whether fees were transparent and reasonable. Additionally, Statista gathered more than 500,000 publicly available text reviews and ratings about each bank between February 2022 and March 2025. This research was included in the analysis, accounting for 20% of each financial institution’s score while the surveys accounted for 80%. Community National Bank ranked first in VT. Online-only banks and institutions that have branches in more than 15 states were excluded from the survey. As with all Forbes lists, companies pay no fee to participate or be selected.
