Community National Bank's Children's Online Privacy Statement

At Community National Bank, we are committed to protecting all personal information that we are entrusted with, that includes information that we may receive from children.

This statement explains Community National Bank's collection, use and security of personal information received from a child, defined by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act as any individual under the age of 13.

Information We Collect and How We Use It

We do not ask for, nor do we collect, personally identifying information from children ages 13 and under through any of our online channels, which includes our Web site, facebook page and twitter. We also do not use cookies to collect information. We do use cookies to identify the type of browser that is being used to allow optimum compatibility between our site and the visitor's browser and to track information that allows us to determine the most popular areas of our Web site.

The only information that CNB could receive online from children is unsolicited email or messages that they have generated to us. Once we have determined that we have received correspondence from a child under the age of 13, we will collect the parent's contact information and notify the parent that we have received an email from their child and, if applicable, obtain permission to follow through with the child's request. Once we have responded to the request, we will delete the child's online contact information immediately. If we do not gain permission from the parent to complete the child's request, we will delete all personal information including online contact information. Information we receive from a child could include their name, address, age and phone number. We may use the personal information to sign Kids Club members up for an event or to mail event applications, Kids Club newsletters or holiday and birthday cards. We do not require a child to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in a contest, game or other activity as a condition of participation. We do not provide any personal information to third parties. If at any time we need to use the service of a third party vendor, the third party must agree to maintain the confidentiality and security of the children's information in line with the privacy standards of Community National Bank.

Personal information about children is available only to those who work with the online sites or who provide technical and other fulfillment support services to the site. Listed at the end of this policy, please find Community National Bank's personnel that may collect and maintain personal information from a child.
