We employ strong authentication controls provided to us by the Federal Government’s banking regulators for your protection.
All data, including your ID and password, is protected by our secure network system encrypted with a 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL). The web browser you use must support 128-bit encryption. Please use the most current browser. Using older browsers can limit access to services and reduce functionality. All sessions have a time limit. By using firewall systems and intrusion detection software we are adding multiple layers of security to prevent hackers from accessing customer and bank information. If your session is inactive for 10 minutes you will need to sign in again.
You can also protect yourself by creating strong passwords and never sharing them with anyone. Online banking users are prompted to change passwords every 6 months and will only be allowed 3 invalid sign on attempts before being locked out.
How to Create a Strong Password
When using Online banking, and all other online accounts, be sure to log out when finished. This ensures no one will see your personal information. Installing and regularly updating anti-virus software, anti-spyware and firewalls will protect your electronic devices.
