Derby, VT—Community National Bank (CNB) President and CEO Christopher Caldwell is proud to announce that Julie Marquis has returned to the Derby Main office as Manager, continuing her leadership journey at CNB. Julie was hired by the bank in March 1997 as a Teller in the Derby Line office and in 1999, she started working as a Teller in the Derby office. In 2002, she took a position in the Loan Processing department. In 2003, Marquis accepted the position of Personal Banker in Derby and in 2009 she was promoted to Office Supervisor of the Troy office. In 2023, she was promoted to an officer position as the Troy office Manager until she recently assumed the position of Derby office Manager in April 2025.
Marquis is a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking and has earned a General Banking Diploma and a Bank Operations Diploma through the Center for Financial Training and Education Alliance (CFTEA). She has also taken several business, management and banking classes through CFTEA. Marquis has long been a Board Member for the Jay Peak Area Chamber of Commerce.
