Derby, VT—Community National Bank (CNB) President and CEO Christopher Caldwell is pleased to announce the promotion of Melissa Tinker to Assistant Human Resources Officer and Training Coordinator. Melissa began her career in banking in 2002.
During Melissa’s banking career, she has worked as a Deposit Services Representative, a Teller, a Finance Assistant, Financial Services Coordinator, and Shareholder Services and Human Resources Coordinator. Melissa has diplomas in Intro to Human Resources, General Banking, and Bank Operations from Center for Financial Training & Education Alliance (CFTEA). She’s a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Johnson State College and an Associate of Science in Human Services from Community College of Vermont.
Melissa makes her home in Orleans with her husband Scott and daughter Alexis. She stated, “I am excited to expand my human resources knowledge and support our employees by coordinating and implementing training opportunities that align with the organization’s goals as the bank continues to grow.” In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys reading and visiting the local lakes in the summer months.
