Sizzling Summer Campaign Scam Alert

We are currently experiencing phishing attempts that are exploiting and using our bank's Facebook page and Facebook Sizzling Summer Campaign.

This is happening in two ways:
1. Bad actors are making comments on our Campaign posts with a link trying to get people to click the link and then they ask for private and financial information.
2. They seem to be targeting Facebook users who have commented on our Campaign posts, and they are sending Facebook Messenger messages designed to look like us with our logo telling them they have won. They are asked to click a link and fill out information to claim their prize.

Facebook is a free social media platform, so we are limited on what we can do, but we are changing the settings on all our Campaign posts so that only people that we have mentioned should be able to comment.

We will never ask for private and financial information, ever. We only require a name, a phone number, a county of residence and an email address to enter our drawing. Because Facebook is a social media platform, you should never click on links that have been posted in the comments section of any Facebook page, including the bank's Facebook page.

If you are participating in the Facebook Campaign, please do not comment "done" in the comments section. It does not increase your chances of winning and it may increase your chances of receiving a fraudulent message through Facebook Messenger.
